Frequently Asked Questions

  • When you come to a class at SK1LL, ultimately bring yourself! If you own a water bottle or cycle shoes, please feel free to bring those items. Otherwise, we have bottled water for purchase and a water filling station in the studio. We provide cycle shoes. They are included in your class fees and are provided free of charge with no additional rental fee.

    For group fitness classes, just wear a comfortable pair of running or workout shoes.

  • We love meeting new people! You can expect exceptional service and an amazing workout experience. If this is your first time visiting us, please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class start time. One of our team members will ensure that you are setup for success no matter where you are on your fitness journey.

  • First, congrats on the taking this big step! Second, go at your own pace. Take breaks as you need. In cycle classes, adjust the resistance as needed, and choreography is always optional. The saddle is always there for you.

  • We are equipped with Stages SC3 indoor cycling bikes. Our bikes are dual pedal and can accomodate both SPD and LOOK Delta cleats.

    Our house cycle shoes contain LOOK Delta cleats.

  • Our studio is equipped with dedicated showers and dedicated restrooms. There are lockers with keyless combination locks. We have a water filling station. Cycle shoes are complimentary with your class booking. All equipment needed for class is provided.

  • We get it. Life happens. If you are running late, please call the studio, and we will hold your spot in class for you. Otherwise, your place will be given to a participant on the waitlist or to a walk-in within 4 minutes of class start time.

    If you are running late, we have a 5 minute grace period at the start of class. After the 5 minute window, we unfortunately, will not allow entry into class.

  • For classes with start times between 6 am and 11 am, we have a 12 hour window for cancellation. Classes starting 12 pm or later have a 6 hour window.

    Cancellation beyond the allotted windows will result in loss of a class credit. If you have a monthly recurring membership, you will be subjected to a late cancellation fee.

    Again, life happens. Please email or call the studio in the event of an emergency or critical matter.

  • Yes, and yes. Class participants should be at least 12 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 will require signature of an additional waiver by their parent or legal guardian prior to partaking in classes at the studio.

    All cycle class participants, regardless of age, should be at least 4’11” for safety purposes.

  • We’re glad that you asked. We operate by the Golden Rule at SK1LL. We show respect for ourselves as well as others.

    That being said, please refrain from using cell phones during class. Recording (audio or video) during classes is not allowed.

    If you need to attend class late or leave class early, please notify our staff in advance. We are happy to assist.

    We all love to workout. Please be mindful of the community and wear fresh clothes to class.

    We workout as ONE here. We respect your individuality, and if you need something other than what is being offered by our instructors, we respectfully request that you book a spot near the back of the room as a show of respect to the other participants and the instructor.
